Instructions

Mild but powerful
I have grumpy sensitive skin that tolerates OTC retinol like neutrogena 0.1 oil relatively well and with good results but I always struggle with some tenderness that only resolves when I stop for a, few days. Avene's 0.1 Retrinal was recommended as being both powerful but kind to sensitive skin by YouTube skin dermalogist guru Dr Dray. She was absolutely right, great results with no painful/tender skin.

After using this product a few times now I have found that it seems to be making my skin somewhat dry. I have had no real problems with it other than that, which says a lot as my skin is sensitive. It is effective and gentle on my skin. I would recommend it.

I use a stronger (prescription) retinoid on my face, but wanted to use something for my neck/decolletage/hands. This product is perfect. One to two pumps is enough for all those areas, and gentle enough to not cause irritation as long as I only use it a couple nights per week. Great purchase!

Had originally used Skinceuticals retinol .1%, but that is no longer available for me (in Canada). Switched to Avene .1%, and like it way better! I can definitely see better results around my eyes and lips.
