I haven't used many facial washes besides lancome's exfoliance, neutrogena, baby shampoo, yogurt, steam and hot water (not mixed together though ). I avoid most soaps which tend to dry my skin, and don't generally like the idea of cleansers/toners because so many of them have alcohol in them and I don't feel good about leaving chemicals on my skin (although I just received tiny phytomer cleanser and toner samples, and reviews seem so positive that I'm excited to try them tonight.)
Now that I have a clarisonic ordered I've been reading a lot of reviews trying to find the perfect facial wash, and it looks like an exfoliating wash is a no no. It was a tie between kinerase's gentle and dermalogica ultra calming, but I settled with the latter because it had won an award last year and seemed to be a better deal. Maybe I'll end up liking the clarisonic hydro, but reviews seem very mixed and people either love it or hate it. I'd also like to try philosophy's facial wash.
What is your favourite facial/body wash with or without the clarisonic? I was curious about the coffeeberry? Has anyone tried it?

Jenny, I agree with you. I stay away any soaps in which are high in alkaline content, that is why the soaps tends to dry up the skin. The skin has pH balance around 5.5-6.
I have combination and normal skin in summer and dehydrated normal skin in winter. My favourite cleanser is Shiseido Brightening cleansing foam which even removes make up. Though this product seems to dry up my skin, it makes my face clear without having any pimples or bumps. I have been trying different less expensive brands and always keep going repurchase this product.
I am using Vitabath or H2O for body wash as my body is very dry and dehydrated. Any suggestions of body wash for dry skin? |

| Babor's Mild Cleaser works for me. It is unscented and extremely gentle. I have sensitive skin. My body is less sensitive and I sometimes use Johnson's Baby Wash. |

Definitely stay away from gel cleansers when it comes to the Clarisonic. Just because it doesn't foam quite right or adhere to the brush and your skin cause it to be more abrasive on your skin.
A cleanser I've been loving with the Clarisonic is the La Roshe Posay Effaclar Deep Cleansing Foaming Cream. It contains very little irritants and will help firm up your skin and pores after washing. |
