Speaking of Becca, my friends and I are interested in learning more about these products, especially their foundations and loose powder. If anyone has ever used Becca products please let me know if you would recommend them for acne prone skin (I know you guys must be sick of hearing about acne prone skin...). Also, how is their coverage? We're looking for products that can make our skin appear flawless. hahahaha.
Thanks!

For those in the Toronto area, I believe Becca cosmetics is phasing out at Holt Renfrew. So they are on sale. I think the discount was around 60%...but don't quote me on that.

WHAT?! Why?
Hmmm... I shall go tomorrow and check it out!
It seems like Becca is being phased out everywhere in North America. My cousin was rather sad when Sephora phased it out 2/3 years ago.

Yep! They are phasing out and I saw a lot of concealer duos at the Holts in Yorkdale.

Beaute Cosmetics is also phasing out except their selection wasn't as big...not even on boxing day.

Hmm...I guess it's not very popular here? I'm not too familiar with the brand, I've seen it a few times at Holts and on websites, Sephora phased it out late in 2008 I think. I notice that Delux beauty is completely gone as well (the line that McDreamy's wife started!), it's a shame, b/c they had a lot of potential, in my opinion.

Another thing, Sephora is phasing out Laura Geller so everything from the line is 30% off.

I didn't like Laura Geller...I got a sample of the Face Primer...something Spackle, I hated it! Does anyone know why Sephora phases out certain products only after picking them up for like 6 months? Is it b/c they terminated the partnership b/c no one's buying the products from them, or does it come from the brand?

For instance, Vincent Longo is an excellent line, but they phased it out. Ted Gibson is most definitely still around, but Sephora's getting rid of them. I'm wondering if the discontinuation is coming from Sephora or the lines, ie. Longo & Gibson?

I believe it's a whole bunch of reasons.
1) Due to low sales of these brands, Sephora has to phase them out.
2) Since there is a constant emergence of brands and those that strike the interest of Sephora, they have to make room for them.
3) Due to the limited in-store space, there can only be some brands.

I just ordered some Becca products after reading a few reviews. I was most interested in the Beach Tint and didn't know what color would be good for my skin tone so I emailed their customer service and he was VERY helpful in picking out colors that would work for me. I am so pleased they would take the time out to help like that and am excited to receive my products.
