| When you shop for skin care products,do you go for the brand or the ingredients??. Do you totally ignore the ingredients if you think the brand is good. Or do u go just for the ingredinents and buy a cheap product w a good formulation? |

First brand and then ingredients. Brands is usually a good indicator of what kind of ingredients it will have. For example: with the brand Live-Live, you can already tell that it'll be all natural, organic, and raw. Whereas with brands like Estee Lauder, you can bet that it'll have lots of chemicals. But I always read the ingredients and make sure that it's not like a novel long, or infused with words that I can never pronounce. |

| I too go for brand first. Truth is, brands like to stick with a fad/ingredient...and they build a whole regimen/line around it. So it's safe to say that if you find a brand you like, and the ingredients you know isn't irritating to skin, then you can trust that line to produce products that you'll like. I honestly can't trust the cheap brands, I can pinpoint why, b/c Loreal owns Lancome, yet Lancome products are definitely more appealing to me. With that said tho, I don't use Lancome nor Loreal products. |

| I do brand and ingredients. The brand attracts me to the product but the ingredients usually determine whether or not I'd give the product a try. |

The brand is a great starting point. it is the face and reputation of the products. A strong brand will offer some assurance that the products will have integrity and quality. That being said, all products in a brand aren't going to always be the best for one's skin care needs. That's why I do like to mix products from different brands. And of course if its a good brand and you know their ingredients it will give you some piece of mind knowing that what your buying is not sub-standard.

| I am always attracted by the brand, but whether I buy the products or not depends on the ingredients! |

i would say both of them are important. if i want to buy skincare, i would want to look at the ingredients first to see if i'm allergic to any of them, and then go to the brand. sometimes you have to remember that ingredients may be very similar for two products, but because of the different brands, the effect might be different. |

I usually am after the ingredients, but depends on whether I know what brand HAS the ingredients or formulation I am after. If I believe a certain brand is reliable, I will check it out early in my search. Depends, too, on whether I have heard a certain brand is good first--or certain ingredients.

| I figure out the ingredients I'm looking for and then look through the different brands to see who includes what I want in their product. Quality and concentration very widely from one brand to the next. |

| I'm having better results choosing products by checking ingredients instead of the brand. |

| If there is any advice to give its "Recognize ingredients" They make choosing skin care and cosmetics a much more reliable process. |
