What's a good daily exfoliator/scrub that does a good job of cleaning out pores?
Thanks! |

The Karin Herzog Cleansing Cream is a great cream based cleanser for those who are more prone to blackheadss. I love using this stuff, it clears up my nose beautifully!

| B Kemis Vitamin Cleanser that brightens up my skin without leave it dry. I feel so refreshed after use. Also, I can see the result even though for the first time use. The cleanser is creamy texture with some exfoliating granules. I got this as a sample from Sephora. Once I finish the sample and my other cleanser, I will purchase this product. |

| I am wondering is it ok to use daily exfoliator/scrub on the face? I am having a sensitive skin and it looks dry most of the time. Using scrub makes it looks softner but is it ok to use it everyday? Or is there a good exfoliator/scrub product for sensitive skin to use everyday? |

| My skin is pretty sensitive and dry on the cheek area as well. Exfoliating skin can slough off the dead skin on the face, but also can dry out the skin as well. Moisturizing the skin right after exfoliation is a essential skincare regime. I wouldn't recommend to use daily exfoliating/scrub on face every day. I read an article before. It mentioned that: for those who have dry/sensitive skin, using exfoliating scrub once a week; for those who have oily skin, you may use scrub few times a week. For combination skin, you may want to focus just on the T-zone areas for exfoliation. |

I've been using Physician's Complex Microdermabrasion Cream. I really like it. I'll have to research the other products mentioned here. Thanks! |

I have the same question as nancyacura. Right now I'm getting microdermabrasion facials done at a laser med clinic every 3-4 weeks but I still want to exfoliate during my waiting days. I have acne prone skill -- though right now my acne is under control -- so I'm curious to know if I can exfoliate every other day. |

| I think certain exfoliators are meant to be used only 2-3 times per week but some can be used daily. I use a clarisonic brush which classifies as an exfoliator on Sephora and encountered no irritation between laser visits (I used to go a clinic for light treatments). I think also Philosophy has an exfoliating wash meant for every day use. |

val is right, anything that helps remove dead skin cells should be only used periodically. This because the skin needs time to renew it's self. I have read that it can be done everyday, but it depends on the product type, strength and you current skin condition. If you are going to a clinic, you should ask the professionals there the frequency and type of product to be using. Over use can lead to other "issues" and frustration - IMO

| Right now I'm using Clinique 7-Day Scrub, and it's really good. I read Desquacerm by Sothys is really good at exfoliating/deep cleansing the skin. I've heard that over-exfoliating is bad for the skin because if you do it too much, you're stripping off the essential oils that your skin naturally needs, so it reacts by producing more oil, causing it to be oilier. |

The best scrub I ever used on my skin was simply warm water and baking soda. The nature's best scrub and costs less than a dollar for MANY scrubbings......
I highly recommend it!
