I'm looking for a great eyeshadow that doesn't cost a million dollars. I was using a mineral eyeshadow (with water) They look nice but can be messy. Tried Avon but my eyes burned and they have some kind of perfume. MAC is OK. but not great, same with Faces brand. I would like to try a plum/mauve without looking like I got punched out. Also a brown. I have green brown eyes. Any suggestions? |

I am a big fan of Benefit's cream eyeshadows. The colours are wonderful (with ur green eyes, you would look great in a colour called "skinny jeans")....the colour doesn't budge all day, and the price is right....I believe a pot costs around $20, but it lasts forever. I have been using my fave, every day, and bought it over 6 months ago. I am not sure if you can get Benefits products on this site, but I bought mine at Shopper's Drug Mart, Sephora carries it as well.

I like Guerlain Powder to Cream Eyeshadow, but they don't have that particular color I believe. Their colors are so limited. What a shame!

Sorry I took so long to reply. Thanks Nix the Benefit's eyeshadow sounds great. I have easy access to Shopper's (time is another thing). I'm going to try the "skinny jeans". Sara, I'm having a hard time finding the Guerlain eyeshadow. |

| I was thinking of ordering one of the Guerlain powder eyeshadows to try. There are only three choices on this site, which of the three do you recommend Sara? |

| Looks like there is only one colour available. Rayon D'Or. What colour is Rayon D'Or? Can anyone describe? Hopefully there will be more eyeshadows available. |

Is there anywhere I can purchase Benefit's eyeshadows? I tried Shoppers and they don't carry the eyeshadows here I guess I'll wait to visit a Sephora. (we don't have one here). |

| Julie Hewett has some lovely cream eye shadows that also double as liners. |

| I quite like Make Up For Ever, they get excellent reviews on Makeupalley, and the pigment and dimension is excellent. |

| Nars, Smashbox and MAC have long lasting eye shadows -- that layer very nicely. One eyeshadow can give you many different looks depending how lightly or heavily you choose to apply the shadow. |

| I like Cargo for their texture and colors. The price isn't too bad either for a generous tin of eye color. |

I LOVE the urban decay eyeshadows and the paletes are just sooo sweet, also i like the eyeshadow sets frome I.D. with 3 pices in each box.
If you wanna get your eyeshadow to stay longer then you should use a primer like fex urban decay primer potion. |

| Bobbi Brown has really nice eyeshadow I think is worth trying. For my everyday wear I use Jane Iredale due to my sensitivity. |

I love Urban decay, Mac and Nars shadows. However, I love mineral shadows the best (Pure Luxe, Fyrinnae, and Meow Cosmetics). It takes a day or two to getting used to loose shadow, but when you foil them (foiling is when you apply them with a mixing medium, or some people just use water or visine), they last all day without a primer underneath (And I have a deep crease in my eyes, which makes it impossible to go without a primer!) And not to mention the colours are so intense. I would give it another go!!!
