Shaving 101: Lather Up Using Soap

Mar 14th , 2017
Posted By Dianne
Shaving has been long known to be one of the most convenient ways in removing unwanted hair for both men and woman. For gentlemen, getting a smooth shave requires having the perfect lather with the use of shaving products.

Shaving soaps are preferred by men for their pureness and consistency that can easily whip up a great lather.
They come in various forms for long term use making them more cost-effective compared to other types of shaving products in the market.

Below is a step-by-step guide on how to create the perfect lather using shaving soap:

1. Soak the shaving brush in warm
water until its fibers became soft.
2. Lightly squeeze the brush to remove excess water.
3. Swirl the brush on the shaving soap for 30 seconds.
4. To create a lather, start with a dampen face, and use a bowl
or directly use the soap on your face.
Tip: Swirl a little more if the lather is too bubbly until it gets thicker.
Remember: A great lather should be in between
moisture and richness to give a lofty cushion for a
smooth, effortless shave.
5. Start coating in a circular motion
using the brush.
6. Happy shaving.
